Productores sostienen que los acuerdos \u201cayudan\u201d y afirmaron que todos estos han sido respetados hasta el momento. (Diario Financiero).<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Con preocupaci\u00f3n, pero tambi\u00e9n confiados en que el respeto a los Tratados de Libre Comercio (TLC) permitir\u00e1 enfrentar mejor un posible incremento de la guerra comercial, se encuentran el gremio frut\u00edcola.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan el presidente de Asociaci\u00f3n de Exportadores de Frutas de Chile (Asoex), Ronald Bown, el tema \u201cnos preocupa ya que estas pol\u00edticas proteccionistas y que no respetan los tratados de libre comercio suscritos, pueden transformarse en una tendencia, afectando el comercio internacional\u201d.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, reconoci\u00f3 que \u201chasta el momento no vemos problemas para nuestras exportaciones, pues existen Tratados de Libre Comercio con los pa\u00edses a los que estamos exportando, y \u00e9stos se han respetado a la fecha\u201d.<\/p>\n

Bown valor\u00f3 adem\u00e1s las acciones que ha tomado el Ejecutivo ante casos como el alza unilateral de aranceles que India aplic\u00f3 en mayo pasado a las nueces, pa\u00eds con el que Chile tiene un acuerdo que no ha sido ratificado por el Congreso. As\u00ed, aunque afirm\u00f3 este hecho \u201csin duda caus\u00f3 problemas a este sector exportador\u201d, reconoci\u00f3 que a su juicio \u201cse est\u00e1n haciendo las acciones que proceden\u201d por parte del gobierno.<\/p>\n

En tanto, el presidente de Fedefruta, Luis Schimdt sostuvo que los efectos del enfrentamiento comercial \u201ctodav\u00eda no lo dimensionamos mucho pero ya se ha visto algo en las enormes bajas del precio del cobre\u201d.<\/p>\n

Schmidt dijo que los TLC \u201cnos ayudan por cierto\u201d, pero asegur\u00f3 sentir \u201cgran desaz\u00f3n\u201d por el episodio con la India \u201cporque es un mercado important\u00edsimo para nosotros\u201d.<\/p>\n
