{"id":27280,"date":"2025-10-03T13:30:58","date_gmt":"2025-10-03T16:30:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mundoagropecuario.cl\/new\/?p=27280"},"modified":"2025-11-11T10:47:21","modified_gmt":"2025-11-11T13:47:21","slug":"con-exito-se-desarrollo-congreso-latinoamericano-de-buiatria-en-puerto-varas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mundoagropecuario.cl\/new\/con-exito-se-desarrollo-congreso-latinoamericano-de-buiatria-en-puerto-varas\/","title":{"rendered":"Con \u00e9xito se desarroll\u00f3 Congreso Latinoamericano de Buiatr\u00eda en Puerto Varas"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"et_pb_with_border et_pb_column_2_3 et_pb_column et_pb_column_1_tb_body et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_post_content et_pb_post_content_0_tb_body dropcappost\">\n<p>Una destacada participaci\u00f3n tuvieron cient\u00edficos del Instituto de Investigaciones Agropecuarias (INIA) en el XXI Congreso Latinoamericano de Buiatr\u00eda, que se llev\u00f3 a cabo los d\u00edas 25 y 26 de septiembre de 2025, en el hotel Enjoy de Puerto Varas, en el sur de Chile.<\/p>\n<p>El director regional de INIA Remehue, Manuel Munoz, destac\u00f3 que \u201ceste evento tuvo como principal \u00e9nfasis c\u00f3mo abordar los desaf\u00edos del cambio clim\u00e1tico desde el punto de vista de la Buiatr\u00eda del manejo de los bovinos y los rumiantes, temas en los que el INIA tiene un gran liderazgo nacional e internacional\u201d. Es por eso que luego de la bienvenida oficial de la presidenta de la Sociedad Chilena de Buiatr\u00eda AG, Dra. \u00c1ngela Rendel y del presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n Latinoamericana de Buiatr\u00eda, Dr. Francisco Lanuza, el Dr. Francisco Salazar, investigador de INIA Remehue, dict\u00f3 la Conferencia Magistral titulada \u201cSustentabilidad ambiental de la producci\u00f3n agropecuaria frente al cambio clim\u00e1tico\u201d, con la que se inaugur\u00f3 el evento.<\/p>\n<h3>Tres d\u00e9cadas de investigaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p>El reconocido profesional investigador de\u00a0INIA\u00a0present\u00f3 los resultados de trabajos realizados durante cerca de 30 a\u00f1os de investigaci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica y aplicada en el \u00e1rea de ganader\u00eda y medioambiente, dando a conocer los avances logrados en el desarrollo de estrategias de mitigaci\u00f3n y adaptaci\u00f3n al cambio clim\u00e1tico, as\u00ed como a los desaf\u00edos ambientales que impone la producci\u00f3n animal en Chile y el mundo.<\/p>\n<p>Posteriormente, en el primer Simposio dedicado a cambio clim\u00e1tico, expusieron los investigadores de INIA Remehue Dr. Ignacio Beltr\u00e1n, acerca del balance nitrogenado y emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero en sistemas ganaderos y la Dra. Camila Mu\u00f1oz, sobre estrategias de mitigaci\u00f3n de metano ent\u00e9rico de rumiantes.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n present\u00f3 en el mismo simposio el investigador de INIA Carillanca, Dr. Emilio Ungerfeld, sobre la situaci\u00f3n actual del uso inhibidores de metanog\u00e9nesis.<\/p>\n<p>Finalmente, el viernes 26, en el simposio de Rumiantes peque\u00f1os, expuso el Dr. Francisco Sales de INIA Kampenaike acerca de los avances en producci\u00f3n ovina en zonas australes.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Buiatr\u00eda<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>La Buiatr\u00eda es una rama de la medicina veterinaria que se enfoca en la salud, reproducci\u00f3n, producci\u00f3n y comercializaci\u00f3n de bovinos y otros rumiantes. Etimol\u00f3gicamente proviene de los vocablos griegos: \u201cb\u00fais\u201d utilizado para buey, toro o vaca y \u201ciatre\u00eda\u201d que significa curaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Este congreso latinoamericano fue organizado en conjunto por la Sociedad Chilena y la Asociaci\u00f3n Latinoamericana de Buiatr\u00eda, que buscan promover la investigaci\u00f3n, el intercambio de experiencias y el
