El primer lugar fue otorgado a Nestl\u00e9 Chile por la transformaci\u00f3n del envase de litro de casata de helado Savory, que migr\u00f3 de poliestireno (PS) a un formato monomaterial de polipropileno (PP), facilitando su reciclaje.<\/p>\n<p>En el marco de la ceremonia de premiaci\u00f3n, se destac\u00f3 el enfoque integral de la propuesta: un formato monomaterial que mantiene la funcionalidad, no incrementa el peso y prescinde de pl\u00e1stico adicional, gracias a la incorporaci\u00f3n de etiquetas del mismo compuesto.<\/p>\n<p>Esta implementaci\u00f3n cobra especial relevancia en un pa\u00eds como Chile, que lidera el consumo de helados en Latinoam\u00e9rica y fue valorada como reflejo del compromiso de Nestl\u00e9 con la econom\u00eda circular, aline\u00e1ndose con la normativa vigente y el sello Elijo Reciclar.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundoagropecuario.cl\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Nestle1-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-26603 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.mundoagropecuario.cl\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Nestle1-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"602\" height=\"417\" \/><\/a>\u201cRecibir este reconocimiento es un respaldo al compromiso de Nestl\u00e9 Chile con la innovaci\u00f3n en materia de packaging, donde nos hemos comprometido a que la mayor\u00eda de nuestros envases de pl\u00e1stico est\u00e9n dise\u00f1ados para ser reciclados este a\u00f1o. Sabemos que estos cambios son fundamentales para potenciar la reciclabilidad de nuestros envases y as\u00ed contribuir a nuestra meta de que ninguno llegue a rellenos sanitarios\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Isabel Gonz\u00e1lez, gerente de Innovaci\u00f3n de Nestl\u00e9 Chile.<\/p>\n<p>La jornada cont\u00f3 con la presencia del rector de la Usach, Rodrigo Vidal; el subsecretario de Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda, Conocimiento e Innovaci\u00f3n, Cristian Cuevas; la Directora de Programas Tecnol\u00f3gicos de Corfo, Macarena Aljaro; y diversas autoridades de la casa de estudios superiores.<\/p>\n<p>Ah\u00ed, se hizo una reflexi\u00f3n sobre la importancia del v\u00ednculo entre la academia, las empresas y el Estado. \u201cEs un tri\u00e1ngulo virtuoso que nos permite avanzar en esta materia tan fundamental como la sustentabilidad\u201d, sostuvo el rector de la Universidad de Santiago.
