La exposici\u00f3n estuvo a cargo del\nprofesional INIA Ovalle, Luis Leris Garay y el trabajo pr\u00e1ctico se realiz\u00f3 en\nla parcela de Clorinda Godoy, ubicada en el sector Las Perdices en Catapilco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta iniciativa beneficia directamente a los usuarios del\nProdesal de la localidad de Catapilco en su mayor\u00eda productores de ganado\nbovino, ovino y av\u00edcola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ante el d\u00e9ficit h\u00eddrico estructural de la regi\u00f3n, que qued\u00f3\nen evidencia tras la prolongada sequ\u00eda de los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, el&nbsp; INIA La Cruz a trav\u00e9s de un Convenio con la\nMunicipalidad de Zapallar contempl\u00f3&nbsp; la\nconstrucci\u00f3n de la estructura bajo la metodolog\u00eda \u201caprender haciendo\u201d, entre\nlos capacitadores, los productores y los profesionales del PRODESAL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La idea es ense\u00f1arles a producir forraje en un espacio\nreducido y con baja disponibilidad y consumo de agua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luis Leris Garay, profesional del INIA que gui\u00f3 la\nconstrucci\u00f3n de este m\u00f3dulo explic\u00f3 que \u201cla mayor ventaja de este m\u00f3dulo es el\nbajo consumo h\u00eddrico en comparaci\u00f3n con producir forraje en praderas sembradas.\nComo referencia, 300 gramos de avena se transforman en 3,5 kilos de forraje\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La frecuencia del riego depende de la temperatura ambiental\ny se debe utilizar una estructura que permita soportar las bandejas\nordenadamente distribuidas. Las bandejas deben ser regadas uniformemente.
