Presidente gremial espera que el Senado vote a favor del proyecto (Mundo Agropecuario).<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

El presidente de la Federaci\u00f3n de Productores de Frutas de Chile (Fedefruta), Jorge Valenzuela Trebilcock, celebr\u00f3 la aprobaci\u00f3n Tratado Integral y Progresista de Asociaci\u00f3n Transpac\u00edfico (CPTPP) en la C\u00e1mara de Diputados, esperando que el Senado ratifique el acuerdo.<\/p>\n

“Como parte del Consejo Agroexportador y como gremio que representa a los fruticultores chilenos desde Atacama hasta Chile Chico -muchos de ellos dedicados a la exportaci\u00f3n-, entendemos que la vocaci\u00f3n por el comercio internacional que Chile ha desarrollado en estas \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas, es la base por la que sectores productivos como el agro han podido crecer y convertirse en motor de diversas regiones”, coment\u00f3 el dirigente gremial.<\/p>\n

En ese sentido, “creemos que la ratificaci\u00f3n del CPTPP permitir\u00e1 darle un empuj\u00f3n a las exportaciones silvoagropecuarias, incluyendo el rubro de la fruta fresca, que gracias a tratados de este tipo es capaz de generar 560 mil puestos de trabajo cada temporada, y enviar casi 3 millones de toneladas de fruta a los mercados, equivalentes a 5.800 millones de d\u00f3lares”, explic\u00f3 el timonel de Fedefruta, quien insiste que la posici\u00f3n de Chile como referente del comercio internacional de la fruta se ver\u00eda en peligro “en caso de restarnos del tratado,\u00a0 “si nos restamos del tratado, puesto los pa\u00edses que adhieran al acuerdo correr\u00e1n con una ventaja al momento de acceder a un mercado con m\u00e1s de 500 millones de habitantes, lo que nos complicar\u00e1 el panorama y nuestro liderazgo en un futuro pr\u00f3ximo”.<\/p>\n

Jorge Valenzuela, por \u00faltimo, espera que el Senado vote a favor del proyecto. “Solicitamos una discusi\u00f3n parlamentaria que permita aprobar el CPTPP, para el bien del desarrollo de los rubros productivos de las regiones”, concluy\u00f3. “Desde nuestra posici\u00f3n, no estamos hablando en este caso de grandes empresas, ya que son los medianos y peque\u00f1os productores los que constituyen la verdadera fuerza productiva de la fruticultura chilena de exportaci\u00f3n”.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
