Comenz\u00f3 la reuni\u00f3n m\u00e1s importante de las Am\u00e9ricas acerca de las posibilidades de la biomasa como plataforma para productos sustentables, el 5\u00ba Congreso Latinoamericano sobre Biorrefiner\u00edas, que se realiza hasta este mi\u00e9rcoles 9 de enero en el Clubhaus Victoria de San Pedro de la Paz.<\/p>\n

Este evento re\u00fane a expertos de todo el mundo para discutir sobre nuevas alternativas de uso de biomasa para generar productos de mayor valor, diferenciados y con baja huella ecol\u00f3gica, con posibilidades de aplicaci\u00f3n industrial.<\/p>\n

Son tres d\u00edas de di\u00e1logo y discusi\u00f3n multidisciplinaria en conferencias, presentaciones orales, exhibici\u00f3n de p\u00f3ster y actividades paralelas sobre nuevos procesos y productos biobasados. Investigadores, profesionales, estudiantes y representantes de empresas tratando temas como medio ambiente, aditivos alimenticios, adhesivos, algas, microfibrilas de celulosa, biopl\u00e1sticos, materiales de carbono, procesos biol\u00f3gicos, productos qu\u00edmicos y residuos domiciliarios.<\/p>\n

Destacados expertos presentan conferencias plenarias, entre ellos: Eduardo Falabella, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.; Ludo Diels, Vito\/UA, B\u00e9lgica; Marisol Berti, North Dakota State University, Estados Unidos; Guido A. Reinhardt, Ifeu-Institute for Energy and Environmental Research, Alemania; Henrikki Liimatainen, University of Oulu, Finlandia o Joachim Venus, Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy, Alemania.<\/p>\n

El encuentro internacional es organizado por la Unidad de Desarrollo Tecnol\u00f3gico, UDT, y el Centro de Biotecnolog\u00eda, ambos de la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n, y el N\u00facleo Cient\u00edfico y Tecnol\u00f3gico de Biorecursos, Bioren, de la Universidad de La Frontera, y cuenta con el auspicio de Empresas Arauco, Cmpc Bopaper y FPC; colaboran Concepci\u00f3n Convention Bureau y la Asociaci\u00f3n T\u00e9cnica de la Celulosa y el Papel Atcp; participan como media partners, Diario Concepci\u00f3n, Chile Cient\u00edfico y Biorefineries Blog.<\/p>\n
